On May 13 and June 17, Lake Martin Resource Association (LMRA) Board, members and friends gathered at Cooper’s Grill and Kowaliga Restaurant, respectively, for our highly anticipated annual meeting, marking another year of dedicated stewardship and progress in our mission of Preserving, Protecting and Promoting the natural beauty and resources of Lake Martin (the 3 Ps of LMRA). Approximately 100 members and friends joined each meeting which kicked off with a wonderful breakfast and moved into an interactive discussion with our board members’ updates on LMRA’s strategic initiatives of Environmental Impact, Advocacy and Boater Safety with guest speakers from ALEA and TowBoatUS to support.

We truly appreciate the support and engagement of our members, our partners and our community demonstrated at both meetings and look forward to the renewed sense of purpose and determination from each of you that drives our success to Preserve, Protect and Promote Lake Martin.

As a reminder, your LMRA membership is an annual membership and all of the dues and donations are directly applied to the work we do.
