Legislative Initiative Committee

The mission of this committee is to identify and develop issues of interest to Lake Martin membership that will foster safety and improve recreational enjoyment and quality of life. We work with area legislators to secure legislative action to bring about the legalization of these issues when identified. Some issues previously addressed by LMRA include the Big Boat Law, the 100-foot Proximity Ruling and the legalization of strobe lights on boats.
