Environmental Education Committee

The LMRA Environmental Committee is dedicated to raising public awareness of the challenges in protecting the water quality and the visual beauty of Lake Martin and the surrounding area. We will offer assistance in support of groups and individuals who are taking steps to correct these challenges. We will work diligently in fostering attitudes and motivating elected officials and others to make informed decisions and take responsible actions in offering corrective action.
The specific areas of concern are:

• Illegal dumping on roadsides and lake shoreline
• Maintaining water quality at current levels
• Lack of commitment to increase recycling efforts
